Atkinson Moss are delighted to support with the recruitment of an experienced and energetic Account Manager. The successful candidate must have experience or familiarity with the agricultural industry whether this is from employment within a rural business or knowledge of the rural economy.

It’s a fast-paced role requiring someone who can consistently offer a high-level of service, is commercially astute, has a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, with an empathetic approach when needed. The role offers a balance of being office based as well as out on the road visiting and supporting clients as well as proactively identifying business opportunities in new and existing clients.

Key duties include:

  • Offering an excellent level of service to new and existing clients
  • Account reviews/reporting
  • Maintain and manage updates to all clients, specifically regarding new products and services
  • Manage all client interactions via a variety of communication methods
  • Work alongside the procurement team
  • Achieve targets by identifying and increasing business opportunities with new and existing clients

Key Skills:

  • Self-motivated and energetic team player who is passionate about helping people
  • Knowledge or experience within the rural economy/business
  • Proven experience in either sales or a business development role
  • Well-organised with the ability to prioritise

The role is offered on a permanent and full-time basis working Monday - Friday. My client offers excellent benefits, a salary of £40,000 and a car allowance of £6,500.
