Atkinson Moss are proud to be representing a fantastic Legal Firm in their search for a unique new member to their highly productive team. They are looking for an Accounts Senior/ Legal Cashier. To be considered for this role, you must live locally to the Kings Lynn area due to weekly meetings, but this would be mainly remote working.
Key duties include:
- Managing the billing process including liaising with fee earners to produce accurate and timely bills
- Overseeing the WIP and ensuring all time entries are processed in accordance with the month-end timetable
- Overseeing the credit control process
- Setting up weekly payment runs
- Entering the purchase ledger invoices and payments into their accounting system
- Preparing daily bank reconciliations
- Preparing month-end accruals and prepayments
- Preparing the accounting to trial balance levels
Key Skills:
- Strong all round accounts experience
- Minimum qualification level of AAT is desirable but not essential
- Experience working within a legal firm would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail
