Atkinson Moss Leadership recruitment have been retained to support this leading business with the appointment of their new Head of Operations. This position is very much about implementing change and driving the business forwards, and ultimately has a pathway to become the Managing Director within 2 years. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a ‘growth’ business.
In this role you will be involved in:

Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Operational Efficiency: Optimise workflows and processes to ensure the team operates with maximum efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Implement continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations and ensure consistent performance, using data analytics to track performance, forecast outcomes, and improve decision-making processes.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and long-term vision. Ensure the strategy supports both operational excellence and business growth, identifying new market opportunities and innovative approaches to enhance service delivery.

Budget and Performance Management: Set, manage, and monitor budgets to ensure financial targets are met, while adhering to agreed schedules, work plans, and service level agreements (SLAs). Track project costs and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions when necessary to optimise profitability.

Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of fostering a culture of high performance. Provide continuous coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure the team remains motivated and aligned with best practices. Support individual career development through structured performance reviews and development plans.

Proven experience effectively leading and managing a team of cross-disciplinary professionals.

Minimum of 7+ years in a similar operations role
