Location: Outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk

Salary: £31,500 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1 day working from home per week

Atkinson Moss is currently recruiting for a Fuel & Customer Service Specialist to join a well-established business based on the outskirts of Norwich. This is a varied role combining customer service, account management and fuel coordination, ideal for someone who has previous experience within the fuel industry and enjoys building relationships with customers and suppliers.

The Role

  • Providing advice and support to customers across a range of fuel services
  • Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email and online platforms
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the order process and resolving any issues
  • Supporting the administration of fuel-related services and systems
  • Investigating unsuccessful quotations and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer engagement and promote additional products and services
  • Supporting seasonal sales activity and upselling where appropriate
  • Working with internal teams to resolve customer and supplier queries

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the fuel industry
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills and confidence using different systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
