Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy finance team and provide immediate support during an exciting period of change.
This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for key elements of the day-to-day finance function while also supporting management reporting, forecasting and year-end activities.
You will need to be someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and confidently take ownership from day one.
Main Duties:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Supporting the consolidation of multiple entities
- Managing and monitoring daily cash flow
- Preparing forecasts and supporting budget reviews
- Analysing financial performance and investigating variances
- Providing meaningful financial analysis and commentary to management
- Supporting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Reviewing monthly performance with budget holders
- Assisting with year-end accounts and external audit
- Supporting the finance team through a finance systems transition
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required
