Atkinson Moss are working with an established manufacturing business based in Eye, Suffolk to appoint a Distribution Coordinator.

In this role, you will support the Distribution Manager in coordinating the distribution of products to worldwide locations, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Support transport and distribution processes to ensure efficient delivery to customers.
  • Plan and arrange shipments to achieve the most cost-effective solutions while meeting delivery requirements.
  • Prepare all necessary shipping documentation in line with relevant regulations.
  • Support initiatives to maintain a zero-harm and safe working environment.
  • Provide advice to the Sales team on transport options and obtain quotations.
  • Work closely with the Packing team to ensure efficient and appropriate packing methods for all shipments.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding order despatch and provide required updates and documentation.
  • Support all departments requiring shipping and despatch services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates on business systems to reflect shipment status and actions taken.

  • Strong administrative ability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Competent in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams).
