Temporary Management Accountant in Bungay

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact?

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing business on a temporary basis. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with senior management team, getting into the detail and helping to improve the way finance supports the wider business.

Main Duties:

• Producing accurate management information and financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the preparation of budgets and financial plans alongside the Leadership Team
• Helping to develop and maintain an effective forecasting process
• Managing the finance timetable and ensuring key reporting deadlines are met
• Creating clear, meaningful financial reports that give the business useful insight
• Working with non-finance stakeholders to help them understand financial performance, budgets and variances
• Monitoring actual expenditure against budgets and supporting income planning
• Managing supplier and contractor queries, invoices and purchasing activity
• Reconciling financial information across different systems and platforms
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies
• Providing wider support to the finance function as required
