Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking General Labourer on behalf of an Award-Winning Boutique Residential Developer.
The Client
Our client is a highly respected regional developer renowned for delivering bespoke, high-specification residential homes across the South East. They are breaking ground on an exclusive new development in Haywards Heath this August and require dedicated site staff for the full 12-month duration of the build.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring it remains safe, organized, and efficient for the incoming trades.
Your duties will include:
- Site Maintenance: Keeping the site clean, tidy, and free of hazards to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Manual Handling: Unloading deliveries and safely moving materials to various work areas.
- Trade Support: Assisting skilled tradespeople with general tasks when required.
- Site Setup: Helping with the erection of temporary fencing and basic site preparation works.
Requirements
- Essential: A valid CSCS Card.
- Essential: Full 5-point PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses).
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Labourer on a residential construction site is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Strong punctuality and a solid work ethic to commit to a 12-month project.
Location & Commute: Haywards Heath, West Sussex. (Highly commutable from Burgess Hill, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, and surrounding Mid Sussex areas).
