Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to partner with both operational and strategic teams across a broad B2B and B2C customer base.

If you thrive in a fast-moving environment where finance is central to decision-making, this is the kind of role that offers visibility, influence, and real progression.

COMPANY

This is a service-led organisation with strong commercial foundations and a diverse customer portfolio spanning both business and consumer markets. They’ve grown consistently over the past few years, building scale and brand presence, and are now investing further in systems, people, and insight to support their next phase. The culture is dynamic and collaborative—finance is seen as a true partner, not a back-office function.

OPPORTUNITY

This is a newly created Finance Business Partner role designed to strengthen the link between finance and the wider business. You’ll provide data-driven insight, financial challenge, and business partnering across commercial, operational and leadership teams. You’ll play a key role in bringing financial information to life and helping the business make smarter, faster decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles
  • Producing and interpreting KPIs, margin reports, and performance dashboards
  • Leading monthly reviews with budget holders, challenging assumptions and identifying risks/opportunities
  • Preparing insightful financial analysis to support pricing, investment, and strategic decisions
  • Working with the FC to improve reporting processes and drive better visibility of performance
  • Supporting project appraisals, business cases and ad hoc commercial modeling

PERSON

As the successful Finance Business Partner, you’ll likely be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with strong communication skills and a commercial mindset. You’ll enjoy digging into data, understanding what drives performance, and explaining it in a way that gets attention and action.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Experience working in a service-based or customer-centric business
  • Excellent communication and business partnering ability
  • A commercial approach with a focus on adding value, not just reporting numbers
  • Experience improving reporting and planning processes
  • Energy, curiosity, and the drive to take ownership in a new role
