OVERVIEW Atkins Search are recruiting for an ambitious MRICS Quantity Surveyor to join an innovative, forward-thinking and established Construction Consultancy based in Central Birmingham. With a varied workload to offer, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and manage exciting schemes across multiple industry sectors in the Built Environment. CLIENT Established over 60 years ago, my client provides a variety of services to national clients across a multitude of industry sectors. Based in Birmingham, they are a reputable Construction Consultancy with highly experienced teams working on a wide variety of schemes as part of a multi-disciplinary practice. ROLE As an MRICS Quantity Surveyor working for a Birmingham based Construction Consultancy, you will be able to add real value and impact, where you will have the opportunity to become integral to the wider organisation. The successful and ideal MRICS Quantity Surveyor candidate will be involved in property & construction schemes from inception to completion, with responsibilities which include but won’t be limited to: * Employer’s Agent * Providing Cost Management services from inception to completion * Cost planning * Cost management * Value engineering * Tender management * Financial reporting * Budget management * Valuations * Change control * Development cashflow forecasting PERSON Possessing a positive “can-do” attitude, the suitable person for the MRICS Quantity Surveyor vacancy based in Birmingham, must be able to demonstrate previous clear understanding and experience within a Quantity Surveying setting.
