We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety standards. This role is for 16 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 6.00am - 9.00am.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised regularly, vacuumed, and mopped.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
- Drive to various locations as required to perform cleaning duties.
- Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred; training will be provided.
- A customer service-oriented mindset is essential for ensuring client satisfaction.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous due to the location.
