Join as a Highways Engineer in our Transportation team. Our projects are bringing digitalisation to highways and transforming the way people live and work. And you'll be part of these collaborative design teams based across the country and the world. It's an exciting era for UK highways, with the rise of intelligent networks, autonomous technology and mobility as a service.
Your role:
- Be part of the team responsible for the technical delivery of highway infrastructure projects.
- Using highways design, drainage and other software packages to deliver technically robust designs.
- Mentoring and coaching team members and taking responsibility for their technical development.
- Assisting Project Managers on technical aspects of designs from project initiation through to completion.
- Delegating work to team members, programming deliverables and monitoring progress.
- Support the business in work winning activities including representing the business at networking events and preparing tenders.
