Job Location: Primarily working from our Bury St Edmunds or Sudbury offices, depending on the needs of clients and the team; occasional days from home.

Summary of Role: Join our supportive and proactive property team, helping to deliver an efficient, client-focused service from instruction to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking instruction from clients, provide a welcoming, effective and efficient service.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing transaction including ID checks, searches, completions and Land Registry.
  • Supporting fee earners on client matters including file administration, drafting documentation and correspondence.
  • Communicating with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors, ensuring all parties are kept updated from initial instruction to completion.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and quality of work is maintained.
  • Maintaining fee earners diaries.
  • Assisting in other administrative tasks where required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant experience in a similar client-facing environment.
  • Strong administration skills, well organised and able to multi-task.
  • Team player with the ability to organise own workload and adapt/prioritise as necessary.
  • PC proficient especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working in a Law office would be advantageous – particularly in property.
  • Be prepared to work from home and at our Nowton, Bury St Edmunds town centre and Sudbury offices on a rota basis.

Working Arrangements: Full‑time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Own car essential.
