An opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a thriving, forward-thinking team delivering high-quality legal advice with clarity and confidence.

DETAILS

We’re growing our Commercial Property team and are looking for a solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join our busy Bury St Edmunds office. You’ll work alongside Partners and senior colleagues on a broad range of commercial property matters, bringing strong technical skills and a practical, client-focused approach.

About the Role

This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad mix of commercial property work. You’ll be managing your own caseload while supporting Partners and contributing to the continued growth of the team.

Typical work includes:

  • Acting on the sale and purchase of commercial properties and investment portfolios.
  • Advising on commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
  • Supporting on corporate transactions involving property assets.
  • Advising on development projects, site acquisitions, and option agreements.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals to ensure smooth completion of transactions.
  • Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ PQE in commercial property law.
  • Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Proven experience handling landlord and tenant work, acquisitions and disposals, and development transactions.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver a high standard of client care.

Working arrangements

  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Occasional travel between offices may be required
  • Own car essential
