SUMMARY OF ROLE A support role providing day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial Property team, ensuring transactions are managed efficiently and accurately.
DETAILS We’re looking for a Commercial Property Legal Assistant to support our Commercial Property team with a mix of legal and administrative tasks. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys supporting legal work while keeping matters organised and progressing smoothly. You’ll work closely with solicitors and paralegals, helping to manage files, prepare documents, and support the day-to-day running of commercial property matters.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal and administrative support to Commercial Property solicitors
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing files, maintaining accurate records, and updating case management systems
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties in a professional manner
- Assisting with matter progression, including post-completion tasks
- Supporting diary management and monitoring key deadlines
- Carrying out general administrative tasks to support the wider team
What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy legal environment. You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or legal support role, ideally within property law
- A good understanding of legal documentation and file management
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and approachable manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
Working arrangements Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Occasional travel between offices may be required. Own car essential. Typically in one of our offices depending on geographical convenience, needs of clients and the team, occasional days from home on a rota basis.
