Our client is a well-established environmental, health & safety and compliance consultancy operating across London and the surrounding regions. They support a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, retail estates, industrial facilities, media organisations, and mixed-use developments.
You will have the opportunity to assess well-known brands and FTSE 100 companies. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for higher-level technical support, they are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor, Health and Safety Consultant (Trainee Fire Risk Assessor to Senior Level) to join their team. The role is predominantly Fire Risk Assessor focused.
You will be responsible for delivering complex fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical advice to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation:
- Delivering PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across a range of complex property types
- Providing expert advice in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act, and associated regulations
- Involvement in the development of retrospective fire strategies, with structured training and support provided to further develop capability in this area
- Health & Safety assessments
- Producing high-quality, client-ready reports with clear and proportionate recommendations
- Reviewing and quality assuring fire risk assessments (Principal level)
Experience in undertaking fire risk assessments within commercial or complex multi-site environments is required, along with a strong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance. Relevant fire risk assessor qualifications are necessary.
Salary up to £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. Level 4 in fire risk assessment is preferred. Ongoing professional development and support with further qualifications will be provided.
