An exceptional, highly technical Fire Engineer / Fire Strategy Consultant is required to join a growing specialist consultancy team. This senior-level position suits an experienced Fire Engineer or advanced Fire Safety Consultant capable of delivering complex retrospective fire engineering reports, detailed design reviews, and full Building Safety Case documentation from inception through to completion. This position offers fully remote working, with national site attendance required when projects demand.
The Role
- Ownership of complex and high-risk projects across the UK, delivering:
- Retrospective Fire Engineering Reports
- Fire Engineering Design Reviews
- Complex Fire Strategy Reports
- Site inspections to assess, develop, and justify retrospective fire strategies
- Technical liaison with dutyholders, design teams, and regulators
Full competence is required in understanding what a robust Building Safety Case must contain, including hazard identification, control measures, technical justification, supporting evidence, and regulatory alignment, alongside confidence in defending professional judgement.
