Job Opportunity: Fire Engineer (Associate or Director Level)
An excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer to join our client at an Associate or Director-level and work with our Fire Engineering consultancy client who has extensive experience in delivering complex projects in a variety of developments throughout the UK.
Our client bridges the gap in the sector to deliver the most complex fire engineering solutions including:
- Fire strategy management
- Gateway support
- Fire strategies
- FRAEW
- EWS1 surveys
- Design
You will be working with Tier 1 main contractors to develop their fire strategies for both new build and retrospective projects. By working with various clients and projects, you will provide input into their fire safety management plans and assist them in surveying their extensive property portfolios.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team to ensure the highest standard of consultancy support is provided on a risk-based basis.
- Successfully delivering high-quality fire safety services.
- Being responsible for the delivery of technical and complex fire engineering and consultancy projects.
- Delivering complex fire strategies and site inspections upholding company and professional bodies’ codes of conduct and cultures.
- Developing and extending the fire consultancy services our clients offer.
- Mentoring our existing team to enhance their existing skills.
- Managing and developing your own department as an Associate or Director.
You will also have the opportunity to benefit from:

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- BEng Fire Engineering or at least level 5.
- Ideally working towards a Fire Engineering chartership, however, this is not essential.
Our Client Offers:
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience: £80k to £150k + car package.
- Your own page to assist with developing our client’s current website with your new Fire Engineering division.
- 10% bonus on the value of work undertaken, minus salary and expenses – paid annually each February.
- 10% bonus for new clients, paid at the end of the working month when the PO is received.
- Divisional bonus of the new Fire Engineering division.
- Total package: £150k OTE and potential circa.
