An excellent opportunity for a Fire Engineer to join our client at an Associate or Director-level and work with our Fire Engineering consultancy client who has extensive experience in delivering complex projects in various developments throughout the UK. Our client bridges the gap in the sector to deliver the most complex fire engineering solutions from fire strategy management, gateway support, fire strategies, FRAEW, EWS1 surveys, design, etc.
You will be working with Tier 1 main contractors to:
- Develop their fire strategies for both new build and retrospective projects.
- Provide input into their fire safety management plans.
- Assist them in surveying their extensive property portfolios.
You will be managing a team to ensure the highest standard of consultancy support is provided on a risk-based basis and be expected to:
- Successfully deliver high-quality fire safety services.
- Be responsible for the delivery of technical and complex fire engineering and consultancy projects.
- Deliver complex fire strategies and site inspections upholding company and professional bodies’ codes of conduct and cultures.
Your role will include developing and extending the fire consultancy services our clients offer, as well as mentoring our existing team to enhance their existing skills. You will have the opportunity to manage and develop your own department as an Associate or Director with a generous bonus scheme and be trained by CEng Fire Engineers.
Qualifications and experience required:
- BEng Fire Engineering or at least level 5
- Ideally working towards a Fire Engineering chartership, however, not essential.
Our client will offer:
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience – £80k to £150k + car package
- Your own page, and you will assist with developing our client’s current website with your new Fire Engineering division
- 10% bonus on value of work undertaken, minus salary and expenses. Paid annually each February
- 10% bonus for new clients, paid at the end of the working month the PO is received
- Divisional bonus of the new Fire Engineering division
- Total package £150k OTE and potential circa
- Training & Development plans and pathways to progression
- Pension
- Holiday scheme
