About atis
We’re a fast‑growing food brand with big ambitions and bold ideas. Our mission is to bring real, nourishing, vibrant food to people in a way that feels fresh, modern and full of energy. We don’t do beige. We do colour, creativity, culture – and we’re building a brand that reflects that. Every day, we make powerful food that’s full of flavour, full of colour and full of intention. Real food, done really well – all served fast, in vibrant spaces that move with the rhythm of city life. We’re here to transform people’s health and fuel better days. We are building a community that celebrates good food, good people and good energy – unapologetically. Learning and development is at the heart of making sure every single person who wears the atis t‑shirt feels confident, capable, and genuinely excited to show up.
About the role
We're looking for a passionate, people‑obsessed L&D Trainer to join our growing Learning and Development team, sitting alongside our Back of House Trainer. This is a hands‑on, high‑energy role where no two weeks look the same. You’ll work closely with our L&D Manager to make sure our teams across Front of House and Back of House are trained to the highest standard, bringing our service values, seasonal launches, and soft skills to life in a way that really lands.
Typical work includes:
- Delivering engaging inductions that bring new starters into the atis world from day one
- Supporting seasonal and new product menu launches, making sure our teams know the what, the why, and the how
- Delivering our service standards and hospitality training, including our guest experience principles and soft skills workshops
- Running refresher training sessions to keep standards sharp across the estate
- Working hand in hand with our BOH Trainer to ensure back of house teams are confident, competent, and up to date with their soft skills
- Administrative management of training modules for compliance training and management development; including validation checks, reporting and follow ups
- Creating and updating training content, from facilitator guides to digital resources
- Supporting the maintenance and development of our LMS, keeping training records accurate and up to date
- Getting involved in wider L&D projects and contributing ideas, energy, and expertise along the way
Our ideal Trainer is:
- Passionate about people and genuinely lights up when someone has a breakthrough moment
- A confident facilitator who can hold a room, flex their style, and make learning stick
- Someone who rolls their sleeves up, gets involved, and doesn't wait to be asked
- Warm, engaging, and able to connect with people at every level of the business
- Detail‑oriented without losing the energy that makes training feel alive
- Curious, creative, and always thinking about how to do things better
Skills and experience:
- Prior experience delivering training, ideally in hospitality, food and beverage, or a fast‑paced consumer‑facing environment
- Experience creating training materials, whether digital, print, or in‑the‑room
- Prior experience working with an LMS system (this one's ideal, not a dealbreaker)
- A genuine understanding of what great service looks and feels like
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with managers and leaders across the business
Our competency framework:
At atis our team are assessed across 10 core competencies, including Guest Obsession, Yes Culture, Pace & Execution, Quality & Standards, and Coaching Others. As an atis Trainer, you'll be the person who brings these to life in every training room.
What do we offer you?
Genuinely amazing people, culture and vibe! Zone 1 central office location. Zone 1–2 travelcard paid by the company. 25 days plus.
