A full-time Journeyman Electrician position is available right off the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County, Clinton, Maryland.

Responsibilities:
- The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repair on site electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on electrical equipment in compliance with NFPA and NEC codes to ensure operational readiness.
- Respond to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety and operational concerns.
- Diagnose causes of problems and failures in electrical systems to identify repair or replacement needs.
- Install electrical equipment and associated systems to provide enhanced or upgraded capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical system experience at commercial, industrial, or government facilities.
- Training and/or certification at a journeyman level, including control wiring, VFDs (including programming), fire alarm systems, security systems, maintenance of secondary power transformers, and testing of wiring and electrical equipment.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fit testing for a respirator required.
- CLEAN background history to obtain a government clearance in a timely manner.
- Experience at a Government facility is a plus but not required.
