Technical Lead ETL Tester - Job Location: London/Remote
Hands-on Tester Role - Permanent - 75k GBP PA
- Software Quality Assurance experience which includes Data Warehouse Testing
- In-depth knowledge of Data warehouse concepts
- Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with good level SQL skills is required
- Ability to evaluate Business requirements and determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.)
- Strong Test Process orientation and familiarity with Test Scenario identification and Test Data preparation techniques
- Knowledge of Test Documents to be prepared (i.e., Requirement Traceability, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test evidence, etc.)
- Ability to create a comprehensive Test Plan and Test Cases that support the business and technological solutions being delivered
- Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle, etc.
- Exposure to Agile, Jira, and Test management tools (e.g., ALM, RTM, Test FLO, Zephyr, etc.)
- Good to have experience in using or knowledge of ETL tools
- Good to have exposure to creation of an automation framework to validate data
- Detail oriented with an analytical mindset
- Ability to contribute individually or coordinate with a team
- Good communication skills and ability to articulate thoughts clearly to Business and team
Must have:
- Experience of testing in data projects (e.g. ETL pipelines, data migration, data ingestion)
- Experience of developing and executing Test automation using SQL, Python and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB)
