Software Test Engineer

Technical Lead ETL Tester -Job Location -London/Remote Hands on TESTER TOLE Permanent 70k GBP PA ) Software Quality Assurance experience which includes Data Warehouse Testing· 2) In-depth knowledge of Data warehouse concepts 3) Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with good level SQL skills is required 4) Ability to evaluate Business requirements and determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.) 5) Should have strong Test Process orientation and familiarity with Test Scenario identification and Test Data preparation techniques and knowledge of Test Documents to be prepared i.e. Requirement Traceability, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test evidence, etc. 6) Should be able to create a comprehensive Test Plan and Test Cases that support the business and technological solutions being delivered 7) Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle, etc. 8) Should have exposure to Agile, Jira, and Test management tools e.g., ALM, RTM, Test FLO, Zephyr, etc. 9) Good to have experience in using or have knowledge of ETL tools 10) Good to have exposure to creation of an automation framework to validate data 11) Should be detail oriented with an analytical mind set 12) Should be able to contribute individually or even coordinate with a team 13) Should possess good communication skills and be able to articulate thoughts clearly to Business and team Must have: * Experience of testing in data projects (e.g. ETL pipelines, data migration, data ingestion) * Experience of developing and executing Test automation using SQL, Python and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB) * Should have a minimum 8 years of relevant experience (maturity and exposure to the above two is very important) so that the person can handle the role single-handedly (without any support)
