Sr. Sales Director – UK & Ireland (Telecom)
Location: London | Type: Local | Grade: T3 (Sr Director – Telecom Sales, potential VP elevation)
Compensation: $200K – $210K Base + Variable (70:30)
About the Role
A leading Telecom Giant is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to lead business in the UK and Ireland. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships with key accounts, including Telecom, mobile and network-providing giant companies . The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in telecom sales, digital transformation, and enterprise solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
Drive pipeline and revenue growth across all channels in the UK/I region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners .
Develop compelling value propositions that differentiate in the market.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction .
Negotiate contracts and manage end-to-end sales cycles .
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Proven experience selling into major telecom accounts
15–20 years in software-centric sales roles , preferably in telecom and digital transformation.
Expertise in Digital BSS solutions : Catalogue, Commerce, CPQ/CLM, DBSS, Loyalty & Rewards, MarTech.
Knowledge of AI and emerging market trends impacting telecom.
Strong network with senior stakeholders & CxOs within key accounts.
Excellent solution-selling skills and ability to influence C-level executives .
Understanding of SaaS sales models and partner ecosystems.
Excellent communication and executive presence .
Willingness to travel and thrive in a multicultural environment .
