Sales Support Officer – Permanent Recruitment Division We’re on the lookout for someone ambitious, driven, confident, and highly organised to join our Brentwood team as a Sales Support Officer – with the potential to grow into a Sales Consultant role. Recruitment experience isn’t essential – but a proactive, can-do attitude and a real eagerness to learn are. About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to support a thriving recruitment team while learning the ropes of the industry. You’ll play a crucial role behind the scenes—handling key administrative and candidate tasks to enable our recruiters to focus on what they do best. What You’ll Be Doing * Sourcing potential candidates from job boards and databases * Conducting pre-screening calls and managing compliance documents * Acting as a point of contact for admin support, while gaining hands-on experience in the recruitment process * Scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications * Supporting consultants with database tasks, candidate follow-ups, and interview prep * Preparing contracts, offer letters, and compliance documentation * Keeping our candidate, client, and job records up to date in the CRM system Who We’re Looking For * Organised and detail-focused, with strong time management * A confident communicator with a positive, professional approach * Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks * Someone ready to grow into a consultant role over time * Any experience in administration or customer support is great – but not essential Why Athona? ​​​​​We combine 20 years of healthcare recruitment experience with a fresh, forward-thinking mindset.
