Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join a modern day surgery service delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care. The role spans pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative scrub duties, and post‑operative recovery, supporting safe and efficient day‑case surgical pathways within a multidisciplinary team.

Role Details

  • Salary: Up to £40,140 per annum
  • Position: Perioperative / Day Surgery Nurse
  • Hours: Full-time – 1 Year FTC
  • Setting: Acute Hospital / Day Surgery Unit
  • Location: Gibraltar

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments
  • Deliver safe scrub practice using strict aseptic technique
  • Support surgeons during operative procedures
  • Monitor patients during post‑anaesthetic recovery
  • Administer prescribed medications safely
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
