Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join a modern day surgery service delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care. The role spans pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative scrub duties, and post‑operative recovery, supporting safe and efficient day‑case surgical pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
Role Details
- Salary: Up to £40,140 per annum
- Position: Perioperative / Day Surgery Nurse
- Hours: Full-time – 1 Year FTC
- Setting: Acute Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments
- Deliver safe scrub practice using strict aseptic technique
- Support surgeons during operative procedures
- Monitor patients during post‑anaesthetic recovery
- Administer prescribed medications safely
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold infection prevention and patient safety standards
