We are seeking motivated Band 6 Senior Nurses to join our Urgent Community Response (UCR) and Virtual Locality Teams across Shropshire. You will provide rapid assessment and intervention to patients at risk of hospital admission, enabling safe care at home through face-to-face visits and Virtual Ward monitoring. This role involves working collaboratively with GPs, consultants, social care, and allied health professionals, as well as leading and supporting junior staff.
Key Information
- Operational hours: 08:00 – 20:00, 7 days a week.
- Base locations: Telford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth (with flexibility to work across Shropshire at short notice).
- Travel: Mileage claimable during working hours only, at 45p per mile.
- Pay full gross: Weekday (Day): £26.00/hr, Saturday/Night: £35.00/hr, Sunday/Bank Holiday: £40.00/hr.
Essential Requirements
- NMC registered Level 1 Adult Nurse.
- Degree or equivalent post-registration qualifications/experience.
- Health assessment skills (or willingness to work towards).
- Prescribing qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
