Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Gloucester, supporting individuals with complex long-term neurological conditions to maximise their independence, mobility and quality of life.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, using evidence-based practice and effective clinical reasoning to develop personalised treatment plans.

Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Assess and treat individuals with highly complex neurological conditions.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate personalised rehabilitation and treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to maximise functional ability.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary neurological rehabilitation team.
  • Identify and source specialist equipment for complex physical needs.
  • Provide guidance and training to therapy and care assistants.
  • Complete clinical risk assessments, outcome measures and relevant clinical audits.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • A recognised Physiotherapy degree and current HCPC registration.
  • At least two years’ relevant physiotherapy experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy practice.
  • Experience working with complex neurological conditions and rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and relevant regulatory frameworks.
