Occupational Therapist – CYP Neurodevelopment / Sensory Integration

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary service supporting children, young people and their families across Sheffield.

Salary: Up to Β£56,000 FTE
Position: Occupational Therapist
Hours: Full-time, with flexible working available
Setting: CYP Neurodevelopment / Sensory Integration Service
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Complete neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
  • Support autism assessment pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Assess sensory needs and provide appropriate therapeutic recommendations.
  • Develop collaborative care plans with children, families and professionals.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and clinical decision-making.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions and recommendations.
  • Support the ongoing development of CYP services and clinical pathways.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous Occupational Therapy experience within CYP services.
  • Experience or strong interest in sensory integration.
  • Experience within neurodevelopmental services is desirable.
  • ADOS-2 experience would be advantageous.
