Job description:

The Band 6 rotational Occupational Therapy post offers experienced Occupational Therapists the opportunity of gaining advanced clinical skills & knowledge in a variety of acute inpatient clinical settings including care of the elderly, specialist medicine, orthopaedics & surgery, admission avoidance including Frailty and community. The post holder will provide high quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to a wide variety of patients in liaison with the multidisciplinary team and community partners.

The job role is primarily Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week). The exception to this is the admission avoidance and stroke rotations which cover extended hours of practice on a rota basis 7 days per week. The post holder will also be expected to contribute additional hours to the weekend rota.

This agency nursing role gives the option of flexible working, where you would be able to choose if you would like to pick up full time or part time work.
