Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a specialist mental health service in West Sussex, supporting individuals with complex presentations and delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Psychologist to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist psychological input across assessment, formulation, therapeutic intervention and care planning.
Please note: This position is offered on a permanent contract, with the role initially providing 12-month maternity cover.

Your key responsibilities will be;
- Undertake specialist psychological assessments for service users with complex presentations.
- Deliver individual and group psychological interventions using evidence-based approaches.
- Complete diagnostic and cognitive assessments using appropriate assessment tools.
- Develop and implement specialist psychological treatment and management plans.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes.
- Complete clinical risk assessments and make autonomous clinical decisions.
- Facilitate reflective practice sessions and contribute to staff training.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
- BPS‑recognised psychology qualifications and appropriate postgraduate qualifications.
- Active HCPC registration and Chartered Psychologist status.
- Approved supervisor status in accordance with relevant BPS guidelines.
- Experience applying psychological knowledge within a clinical setting.
- Experience working with complex presentations and cognitive deficits.
