Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse – CAMHS Eating Disorders to join our team. As part of the Multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with eating disorders.

Salary: Up to £41,596 + £5000 welcome bonus

Position: Mental health Nurse

Hours: Full Time

Setting: CAMHS ED

Location: London SW15

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed care within an agreed work for a defined group of patients.
  • Work with patients and their families to assess, plan, and deliver nursing care that aligns with patient choice.
  • Observe and engage with patients to assess their needs and evaluate progress.
  • Monitor and review nursing care plans, making adjustments as necessary based on patient condition.
  • Evaluate changes in patient condition and needs, responding effectively to these changes.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care, including regular meetings and discussions.
  • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe care delivery within shift coordination.
  • Maintain personal professional development in line with preceptorship and revalidation requirements.
  • Promote a respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice on a monthly basis.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • A valid NMC PIN with a Registered Nurse qualification (RMN).
  • Experience with patients who have eating disorders and related mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise care delivery.
  • A commitment to personal and professional development in line with healthcare standards.
