Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role based in a tranquil and supportive healthcare environment.

Salary: Up to £41,596 + £5000 welcome bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor the needs of patients, ensuring personalised care plans are created.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
  • Develop and implement behavioural support plans for patients with mental health issues.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects on patients.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care and support in a safe environment.
  • Actively participate in daily team meetings, contributing to the overall care strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Support patients in their recovery journey, encouraging autonomy and independence.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and learning opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and confidentiality for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • A valid NMC PIN with a Registered Nurse qualification (RMN or RNLD).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • An understanding of mental health issues, addictions, and eating disorders.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • A commitment to providing the highest standards of care with integrity and compassion.
