The predicted salary is between 22 - 30 £ per hour.
Location: Barnet
Hours: Part time/ Full time / Ad-hoc – Line of work contract, shift hours – negotiable. Service open 08:00-20:00, seven days a week.
Rates:
- £27.00 per hour Day Rate
- £30.00 Saturday
- £35.00 Sunday
Please note that you will need to pick up weekdays to get access with weekends.
To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years.
Job description:
Athona's Nursing division is currently recruiting for Community agency nurses, with an opportunity based in West London and surrounding areas. This is community-based shift work for an NHS Trust. You will need to be a car driver and have access.
Key skills:
- Wound care
- Catheter care
- Palliative care
- Holistic assessment
- Medication administration
- Insulin administration/management
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Experienced in acute and ED departments
- Liaise with GP to initiate antibiotic treatment
- IV skills with administration and cannulation
- Knowledgeable with ECG, bladder scans/I-stat machine and the CRP machine phlebotomy
- Car driver – the team respond to each patient referral within 2 hours
- Able to use experience of using System One
Qualifications:
- Full NMC registration
- Enhanced DBS for Adult and Child
