Location: Margate / Deal, Kent
Hours: Part time / Full time / Ad-hoc
Shift hours: 0800-2100; 1300-2100; 1300-1700; 1300-2100; 1700-2300 – seven days a week
Rates: £25.00 per hour Day Rate, £30.00 Saturday, £35.00 Sunday
To be considered for this role you need a minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Community based shift work for an NHS Trust.
- Wound care
- Catheter care
- Palliative care
- Holistic assessment
- Medication administration
- Insulin administration/management
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Experienced in acute and ED departments
- Liaise with GP to initiate antibiotic treatment
- IV skills with administration and cannulation
- Knowledgeable with ECG, bladder scans/I-stat machine and the CRP machine phlebotomy
- Car driver – the team responds to each patient referral within 2 hours
- Able to use RIO
Qualifications
- Full NMC registration
- Enhanced DBS for Adult and Child
