We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Nurse to work within Community Services across multiple sites in West Sussex. This locum position is based in a community setting, delivering care in patients’ homes and clinics, with proposed working hours of 08:00–18:00 or 08:00–20:00. Community nursing teams deliver care in patients’ homes and clinics, supporting independence and helping to prevent hospital admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Holistic patient assessment
- Wound assessment and management
- Pressure area care
- Venepuncture
- Insulin administration
- Subcutaneous injections
- Catheter care (male and female)
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, you must have previous community nursing experience, a valid NMC pin, NHS Smartcard, and your own vehicle with business insurance.
