Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist (Breast) to join a large NHS imaging service delivering high-quality screening and symptomatic breast care. This role is directly employed within the NHS, as such comes with all NHS benefits. We can offer this position substantively or on a Fixed Term Contract.

Hours: Full-time / Part-time considered
Setting: NHS Hospital – Imaging Department
Location: Midlands
Your key responsibilities:
- Report screening and symptomatic mammograms independently
- Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies and breast procedures
- Participate in diagnostic and metastatic MDT meetings
- Support breast imaging services across multiple sites
- Supervise and report breast MRI where required
- Contribute to general radiology reporting
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- GMC Specialist Register (or eligibility)
- Breast imaging experience within NHS
- Ability to work independently in breast services
- Experience with MDT participation
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
