Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a dynamic NHS service delivering specialist GI care. This role is directly employed within the NHS, as such comes with all NHS benefits. We can offer this position substantively or on a Fixed Term Contract.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Deliver outpatient gastroenterology clinics
  • Perform endoscopy procedures
  • Manage inpatient GI care
  • Support hepatology services
  • Participate in MDT discussions
  • Contribute to bowel screening programme
  • Support service development

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • MRCP qualification
  • Gastroenterology specialist qualification
  • ALS certification
  • NHS experience (preferred)
  • Independent clinical practice experience
