Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant in Acute Medicine to join a busy NHS acute care service delivering high-quality patient care. This role is directly employed within the NHS, as such comes with all NHS benefits. We can offer this position substantively or on a Fixed Term Contract.

Hours: Full-time
Setting: NHS Acute Medical Unit
Location: Midlands
Responsibilities:
- Deliver acute medical care within AMU
- Undertake post-take ward rounds
- Support emergency admissions
- Lead clinical decision-making
- Supervise junior medical staff
- Participate in audit and QI activity
- Contribute to MDT working
Qualifications:
- GMC Specialist Register
- MRCP qualification
- Recent NHS experience
- Evidence of clinical audit/QIP
- Independent clinical practice experience
