Registered Nurse – Palliative & End of Life Care
Location: Chelmsford, Essex Start Date: ASAP Contract: Ongoing – Regular Shifts & Block Bookings Hours: Full Time or Part Time Pay: Inside IR35
Athona Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Registered Nurses to work at Hospice in Chelmsford, supporting patients requiring specialist palliative and end of life care. The hospice provides specialist inpatient and community care for people affected by life-limiting illness.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for ongoing regular work, with both regular shifts and block booking opportunities available.
Shift Patterns
- Long Days: 07:30 – 20:00
- Nights: 19:30 – 08:00
- Full-time or part-time hours available
- Ongoing regular shifts and block bookings
Pay Rates – Inside IR35
- Day: £28.00 per hour
- Night / Saturday: £32.00 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday: £38.00 per hour
Essential Experience
- Current NMC registration
- Experience in palliative and end of life care
- Strong syringe pump skills
- Experience caring for patients with complex end of life needs
- Confidence working within a hospice environment
