Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a specialist mental health service supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs within a residential setting.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide expert psychiatric input, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to positive outcomes for young people.

Up to Β£68,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Location

  • Cambridge / East of England
  • Your key responsibilities will be;
  • Provide regular psychiatric assessments, reviews and clinical input.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support individualised care plans.
  • Provide specialist psychiatric advice and clinical leadership.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, management plans and safeguarding processes.
  • Support recovery, resilience and positive mental health outcomes.
  • Contribute to trauma-informed and trauma-responsive clinical practice.
  • Work collaboratively with education, psychology, nursing and care professionals.
  • For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;
  • CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent.
  • Full GMC registration and Specialist Registration in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and multidisciplinary working skills.
  • A full driving licence and ability to travel between locations.
