Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a specialist mental health service supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs within a residential setting.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide expert psychiatric input, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to positive outcomes for young people.

- Your key responsibilities will be;
- Provide regular psychiatric assessments, reviews and clinical input.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support individualised care plans.
- Provide specialist psychiatric advice and clinical leadership.
- Contribute to risk assessments, management plans and safeguarding processes.
- Support recovery, resilience and positive mental health outcomes.
- Contribute to trauma-informed and trauma-responsive clinical practice.
- Work collaboratively with education, psychology, nursing and care professionals.
- For this role, weβre looking for someone who has;
- CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent.
- Full GMC registration and Specialist Registration in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and multidisciplinary working skills.
- A full driving licence and ability to travel between locations.
