Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work with a Private Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in East Midlands. This full-time locum position is based in East Midlands, with proposed working hours of 37.5 hours a week.

The role is set to begin 24/04/2025 and will last for 4 months, with a possibility of extension, offering an hourly rate of £30.32 Per Hour. Please note that this position is inside IR35.

To be eligible, you must have Current driving licence. The role is peripatetic and cannot be delivered using public transport. Applicants must be Completing or working towards postgraduate / Level 7 training in Occupational Health, Vocational Rehabilitation or other relevant field of practice.

May be required to work outside of standard working hours and support other DPHC sites where there is a business need for them to do so. This will be within a reasonable travelling distance defined in MoD policy.

Desirable requirements for this role include Competence in Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) or other standardised assessments administration. Experience of Armed Forces healthcare, either in the single Service or tri service environment. Also, A broad experience working with service personnel and the chain of command would be advantageous.
