Rates: £25.00 per hour Day Rate, £30.00 Saturday, £35.00 Sunday

Job description:
Athona’s Nursing division is currently recruiting for Community agency nurses, with an opportunity based in Margate, Deal, and surrounding areas. This is community-based shift work for an NHS Trust. You will need to be a car driver and have access.
Key skills:
- Wound care
- Catheter care
- Palliative care
- Holistic assessment
- Medication administration
- Insulin administration/management
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Experience in acute and ED departments
- Liaise with GP to initiate antibiotic treatment
- IV skills with administration and cannulation
- Knowledgeable with ECG, bladder scans/I-stat machine, and the CRP machine phlebotomy
- Car driver – the team responds to each patient referral within 2 hours
- Able to use RIO
To be considered for this post, applicants will need:
- Full NMC registration
- Enhanced DBS for Adult and Child
