We have an exciting opportunity for an Advance Nurse Practitioner to work with an NHS 111 Service in Croydon, London. This full-time/part-time locum position is based in an office environment, with proposed working hours of Days/Nights/Flexible shifts available. The role is set to begin as soon as possible and offers continuity, with regular shifts and flexible hours. It provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and flexibility within an NHS 111 service.
Eligibility criteria include:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with MSc or PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP)
- Independent non-medical prescribing qualification (V300)
- Proven experience in urgent care, primary care, or emergency settings
- Confidence in autonomous clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication and digital consultation skills
About the Role
As an ANP in our NHS 111 service, you will deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical assessments and advice via telephone and digital platforms. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing remote clinical consultations to patients with urgent care needs
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team including GPs, paramedics, pharmacists, and mental health professionals
- Supporting patients through safe, evidence-based decision-making using NHS Pathways and professional judgment
- Helping to reduce pressure on A&E departments by guiding patients to appropriate care settings
