We have an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Management team, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of our data while developing skills in data management, quality assurance, and collaborative working. This full‑time role is located in Milton Keynes within Athlon.
Responsibilities
- Managing team enquiries, providing accurate information and escalating complex issues when required.
- Maintaining accurate data across multiple systems, ensuring records, agreements, and decisions are up to date.
- Preparing and organising data for internal reporting, discussions, and reviews.
- Uploading and validating manufacturer discount data, supporting compliance and four‑eyes checks.
- Maintaining accurate records on market data, vehicle technologies, engine developments, and cost drivers.
- Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting through data extraction, validation, cleansing, and formatting.
- Preparing and validating external data submissions, including CAP‑HPI reporting.
- Maintaining accurate vehicle classifications in line with market conditions and defined criteria.
- Gathering, verifying, and cross‑referencing data from internal and external sources.
- Supporting ad‑hoc data projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of critical agreement and discount data while supporting data quality controls.
- Contributing to effective financial risk management and decision‑making through high‑quality data management.
Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and handling large datasets.
- Accurate data entry and validation skills with a high level of consistency.
- Experience supporting four‑eyes checks or similar data quality processes.
- Basic analytical skills to identify discrepancies, trends, and data issues and good understanding of data quality principles and controls.
- Experience using business systems such as Miles, CRM, or ERP platforms for data input and reporting.
- Collaborative team player able to work effectively across functions and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- An interest in cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), familiarity with preparing data for external reporting or submissions.
