We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Future Filmmakers Instructor to lead an engaging summer camp designed to introduce students to the exciting world of filmmaking. The instructor will guide participants through the fundamentals of film production, including storytelling, scriptwriting, camera operation, directing, acting, editing, and collaborative project development. This hands-on program encourages creativity, teamwork, and technical skill development while giving students the opportunity to create their own short film projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily filmmaking activities and lessons.
- Introduce students to film production concepts, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, cinematography, directing, and editing.
- Teach basic camera techniques, lighting, sound recording, and video production skills.
- Guide students through the process of creating individual and group film projects.
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Supervise students at all times and maintain a safe classroom setting.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression.
