We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispensers to join our team, within our busy extended hours pharmacy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace to promote a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and practices.
Hours of work will include some evenings and weekends Monday - Sunday
