Motor Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. While an MOT licence would be a bonus, it is not essential, and we welcome applicants without one. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work and are capable of working independently in a workshop environment, we’d love to hear from you. There is also the option to work alternating Saturdays., * (If qualified) Conduct MOT tests to DVSA standards (Class 4 and 7 preferred)

• Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including brakes, suspension, clutch, and other mechanical work

• Accurately diagnose faults and recommend appropriate repairs

• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with workshop protocols

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

• Previous experience in a workshop environment is preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads in a busy environment

• Strong knowledge of diagnostics and mechanical systems

• MOT licence (Class 4 and 7) preferred, but not essential
