Atheray Stone are currently recruiting for an experience Lead Planner to work for a Global Tier 1 Contractor, who are delivering a £400m + project based in London for a major client.
The role will be based in their office in South East London.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain resourced project programmes, ensuring alignment with project requirements and delivery objectives.
Produce project schedules, progress reports and planning updates to support project management teams.
Conduct programme risk analysis and prepare visual planning materials.
Manage and update programmes to reflect changes, progress and compensation events.
Coordinate planning activities across design, construction, temporary works and supply chain teams.
Develop and maintain detailed programmes covering time, resources and project interfaces.
Monitor construction progress, identify delays and implement mitigation measures.
Assess scope changes and work closely with the Commercial Team on cost and contractual implications.
Integrate subcontractor programmes into the overall project schedule.
Ensure projects are delivered on time or ahead of programme.
Required Experience & Knowledge
HNC qualification in a construction-related discipline or extensive civil engineering experience.
Experience in tunnelling and ground engineering projects.
Strong background in planning for both tender and project delivery stages.
Good understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of planning.
Competent in industry planning software, including Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling and reporting processes.
