As a Project Manager at Athera Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects across the business, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive successful outcomes for both our clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through to closure, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and guidance to achieve project objectives
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts
- Monitor project progress against established metrics, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues
- Implement effective communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and changes
- Manage project budgets and financial resources, ensuring cost-effective use while maintaining performance standards
- Ensure adherence to established processes and best practices across all projects
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate closely with Clients, Customer Success Managers and Implementation teams to optimise service delivery
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation that support business growth
- Contribute to the development and refinement of delivery standards that enhance operational efficiency
- Prepare and present executive-level reports showcasing key metrics, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership

- Client Outcomes: Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction against agreed success factors
- Athera Outcomes: Build and maintain Athera's strong brand reputation through consistent, high-quality project delivery
- Risk Management: Successfully identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, minimising their impact on project delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or technology
- Professional project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and processes is highly desirable
